The pictures have crap quality but the bodywork doesn't seem to be in any worse condition than you'd expect on a car that's 20 years younger.

Not pictured: horrifying body rust. Look at the rear bumper , rocker panels, and rear door hinges. I have a feeling this guy just saw rust on the frame/underbody of it and got scared, knowing that the frame is probably toast.

Pic 6 behind the front tire and the trunk pic. Also the rear bumper in pic 2. Of course you'll never know if you don't see it in person.

If the frame is rust-free, this is a perfect restomod opportunity.

If it were a bit closer to home, I'd have three grand in my hand and chancing a reckless driving charge...

Big NP provided I learned how to weld properly.

Still seems cheap. There is well more than $3000 in value there, especially if the trunk lid isn't a pile of red dust.

Don't be a party pooper. This is one of the most desirable American classics there is. I've seen non-runners offered for more than this.

this was listed for a while with pictures of it under a tarp in Hyannis a few months ago. It's resurfaced now, cleaned up and lots of new pics but still the same price. I'm dying to go look at this car, but i don't have the monies or space for it. :(

Not a hot rod, this baby was made for the long slow cruise. Blacked out windows and Chicago Blues.

Ask him if he will take $2900. Find out then if he is a leaker or that is a mistype.

I would call ASAP. That price is far too good to be true. If it somehow is true buy it and you could sell it the next day and make money

Buy it now!

That's probably a legit price. These things can be had as decent drivers relatively cheap all day long. Unfortunately, there's a lot of car there, and your $3000 project/$11,000 driver suddenly can become a $200,000 restoration.

Roadkill. That is all.

Do it don't even think. I've seen complete shit-boxes listed for far more. Even if its rusted to shit you could easily part it for profit.
